MYBA requires that anyone that plans to be on the field during practice or games, must submit for a background check and be cleared by The Board based on those results. This includes Coaches, Umpires or anyone else that may be out there on a regular basis.
The names listed below represent all of those individuals who have both submitted for a background check and also been cleared by The Board based on those results.
Background Checks are valid for one year (two seasons). If your name was previously on the list, but has been removed, it is probably because your B/C has expired. you will need to submit for a new B/C to be done in that case.
This list is published so that Coaches and Parents alike can help us make certain that all persons on the fields with our kids have been cleared.
If you see that one of your Coaches or other are not on the list, please consult with your Head Coach or League Commissioner. If the issue is not taken care of, contact the MYBA President.
If your name does not appear on this list, and you need to submit for a background check, please click "Background Check" from the left and follow the directions carefully.
